Mission Possible is back!
The Leamersville Grace Brethren Church sent their MISSION POSSIBLE team back to the American Rescue Workers for a WORK DAY! In one Saturday, 15 volunteers from their church came to make a difference in the community! Objective: makeover! They pulled overgrown and unruly landscaping from the side of the building and relocated it at the front of the building to make it more appealing. This was not a small feat.. it took most of the day to accomplish just that but that is not all!!! They also brightened the Chapel entrance by changing the lighting so that it was not so dim and then painted the interior white. What a difference! We found out the floor is actually blue! For those at Leamersville who could not physically help, they made and presented beautiful wreaths and flowers to brighten the hallway. Just like a breath of fresh air when you walk in! They put up new borders in the bathroom downstairs and then fixed the flooring in the bathroom that was separating from the wall. And as they worked, they cleaned making sure that everything was in order before leaving. They spent a whole work day there, not quitting until it was finished! They took our mis-matched wicker furniture, repainted and repaired it to give it new life for the Chapel entrance. This group of adults and teens were so enthusiastic about their work and continued despite the heat. "Mission Possible" says they want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to help share His love, and they are doing it! This group supplied the materials and labor to make this happen and provided their own transportation and meals. Thank you "Mission Possible" for all your hard labor and work and may God continue to bless you as you reach out to the community!
